Default water noise from dash

recently im getting a gurgling or sloshing water noise from behind the dash, it seems to only be there when the climate is on and onlys lasts a little while before dissapearing

anyone got any ideas

I would have a check of your air con and plenum drains as soon as, you don't want wet carpets and electronics

Yep, sounds like that if it's coming from the centre vents ^ ^ ^ ^

why does it only last a short time then? does it evaporate once working

anyone any idea on how to check the plenum drains, i dont have elsa loaded at the moment

There is a rubber elbow each side of the trans tunnel where the Center console and dash meet, it's hidden under the carpet.

and what do you do wih it, bleed out the water?
the drains will presumably still be blocked though

If the D3 is similar to the D2, you access them like this and clear the drain lines out with compressed air.

Mine are due a de-clogging too - same symptoms - just started sloshing a few days ago.

I would leave your air-con off (eco) until you've had chance to clear them to prevent further water build-up.

Or push something up the hoses that go up to the catch tray in the dash, a thin flexible cable of some sort.
