Gorgeous I wish they came in quattro so I could put an old-school 3.6 V8 in one.

That would be a good mod if you could modify the floor for the rear diff and shaft

Its been done once in the US, and it was such a horrific job that no one else has ever tried! The back end of the cab is completely different sheet metal to the saloon and coupe so there are no reference points to line up the quattro floorpan, making it extremely challenging to get it welded in the right place.

Didn't Kim Collins do an S2 conversion to a Cab, back in the 90's?

He made 2, the first red one appeared on the S2forum.
No idea if it still exists.

The conversation is a nightmare due in most part for the need of bespoke custom rear struts and the face that the top location of them on a Quattro is right where the roof gubbins is.

The rest is simple metal work of swapping floor pans for the quattro rear diff and subframe etc.
