Not a full on breaker. I've been offered good money for the Xenon Plus headlights, RNS E, the wheels. It will still have the standard items put in and sold at a reduced price with the fancy seats etc still in place. Anyway, let's hope the reduced price helps shift it.

Have to agree. By the time the projekt is finished I would get far more by breaking it than I would selling it as a runner. Sometimes you have to wait for 2 enthusiasts to come along.

I'd rather have a D3 personally because I've done the D2 thing but that isn't a very helpful comment on my for sale thread to be honest its what we have PMs for and I am well aware of D3 values. What do you think I should price it at then?
It makes complete sense to take them items out and sell it de specced. Because I would make about £2k more. The only reason Ian says it's not funny is because he built the car. I'm not going to sell a car that cost me nearly 10k less then a year ago for 3.5/4k. If I can a little more for not much more effort, then it's worth a go. Not to mention I'll be helping fellow forum members in the process.

While it hurts, taking them apart makes financial sense. I have seen several 8s at A8Parts that I would fix but were worth more as parts. Take out every thing that is worth selling and sell it as a runner.
