No sorry, (one of my cats failed on Monday so had slightly more urgent issues this week) still trying to figure out how to take the roof lining part of the sunroof out of it to see whats loose in there, was thinking of getting a copy of Elsawin, to see if that helps, otherwise I think its down to our local Indie and get him to have a look. I have spent ages searching all the other forums but not managed to find anything yet, there was a thread on here from someone with a similar problem from a few years back but seems to have gone cold and not sure if the user is still active here or not let me know if you have more success than me

cheers

Did you check the sunroof seal and lubricate it? could be that it's drying out and sticking.

finally managed to get the head lining part out, probably never get it back in again

However nothing obvious in there other than two metal strips that run from front to back around the middle of the sunroof which the headlining could be knocking against. Its def a head lining thing as I drove to work with it out today and ohh joy no knocking

Going to try some foam stickers on the metal bits and see what happens, will keep you posted

cheers

I know you can't do it now but if is it the actual sunroof knocking against the headlining? Mine knocks too and if i just push up slightly on the sun roof it stops. It's like the sunroof has some vertical movement in it. Dezzy's solution is to turn the wireless up a bit

What sunroof do you have fitted? I ask as that changes the head lining quite a bit, Ive got a glass 'moonroof' which has the slidey back thing, if you have a solar roof or an ally one I assume there is a peice of head lining attached to the inside of the roof.

its the solar one, and yes the lining is attached and moves with the roof when opened or angled

cheers
