I don't want to reveal too much until it arrives on Thursday, let me just say, there isn't a single RS 6 for sale now on autotrader/eBay/Pistonheads that comes close to mine. I think I asked for first refusal on this baby before I even had a license, but he wouldn't sell, until he offered it to me recently. So I snapped it up, it hasn't been for sale anywhere either, it was offered to me directly. It is a plus (in the best colour) completely standard bar Coilovers ditching the DRC.

Nearly, it's sprint blue which was a Plus only colour. In the end only 64ish Plus models came to the UK.
Looks identical to this one spotted at the ring. Has only done 36k miles and has multi function steering, blinds, RNS E(standard on the plus) and bluetooth, glass sunroof as its only factory extras. Did I mention it has two big fat turbos and pushes out 477 BHP as standard and the Plus comes with a sports exhuast from factory, the same factory that gives it a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds! I love it, reminds me of an old school RS 2, and that's a good thing. I know I could have got a D3 S8 for the money, but I've *ached* for an RS 6 for so long, I can't see myself ever selling this baby. I don't think I will ever have loved a car like this, makes loosing the S8 hurt less. Expect lots of high quality pictures when it arrives.  Here's me wanting, dreaming in 2002. God, I've been patient.

Nice one chap - that's the colour I was thinking of, but without seeing it next to a B5 you'd probably struggle to see the difference between the 2 shades and put it down to lighting!
Was one in that very spec at Wimbledon Audi when we bought our A6 in 2007 (IIRC) on the used forecourt! If the box hasn't had an oil change, I'd thoroughly recommend it based on how much smoother my S8 is after the oil and filter change. Getting the A6 done at the next service (car's done about 50k now)

It's getting a cambelt/waterpump/thermostat and full service and health check this week, £1.5k. Then I've got to pay warranty direct. The gearbox oil change is certainly being done before 40k when I'm less poor!
