Default Car Covers, Storage Advice and Cheeky B'stard Begging!

Unforseen circumstances can be a real pain in the ar5e sometimes.

The '8' is now going to be stored outside on the front drive for some time.

Can anyone recommend a car cover specifically for the D2 A8?

Also, does anyone have any advice on long term outside storage, any do's and dont's.

And finally, if anyone has some spare storage space at reasonable rates (free would be perfect (cheeky B'stard begging )) in the Merseyside (Liverpool) area could you let me know.

Thanks

Right where's that feckers drag race post

i'd love to be able to afford a carcoon :C and have a garage big enough to fit it in. And have the usual types of car that live in them. Basically i want a mansion, a lambo and a carcoon. Back to the original point though, you need a lined breathable cover to stop it scratching the hell out of the paintwork and holding in the foist........and it should be clean as a whistle before you cover it or the wind moving the cover uses the dirt to sand the paint away. I did read an article somewhere on laying up a car but i've misplaced it! i think it mentioned doing an oil swap before hand to get rid of any crud but the details for the rest of it are hazy.....will see if i can dig it out.

James,

That Carcoon is brilliant but I think it may be a bit expensive and the local yoof would return it to it's component parts in about 2 minutes flat.

B@fink,

Thanks for the reply, if you could find that article it would be appreciated.

Mike,

I'll PM Tonupkid and see what he can do for me.
