VANOS failure was due to poor soldering most of the time. Redo the solder tracks, replace the transistors (IIRC) and check the solenoids. Job done  £15 in parts and quiet as a mouse again now.Love it

Agreed, a very good effort. Which does ask the question, after going to that much effort. Why couldn't they google an RS 6 picture to position the badge correctly, I'm sure the headlights aren't the same as the RS 6 ones either amongst a few other little things.
