3 Wise men is a perfect description,

From start to finish this meet was organized with military precision.

Cars were great, lodgings were great, roads were great, there was nothing not to like and most of all people were great, really great.

The whole weekend has made me even happier with my car as Michelle and Me ( Charlie ) have met some great people thru it.

Thank You All X

Fandabidozi ...

Great cars, great company, great craic, and - of course - a great location. Many, many thanks to the Three Wise Men (and the wee - wise? - man who also helped..) for putting in all of the time and thought that made this work so well - I'll remember it for a long time (well, most of it, anyway… )- especially the White Van at the Drovers

The whole family enjoyed it end to end and honestly I can't wait for the next one.

The three wise men clearly put in a lot of effort and it paid off with perfection.

They even held back the rain

By complete fluke, it turned out our exit today overlapped the Gumball 3000 competitors making their way south having landed on 2 747 cargos Saturday full of supercars ready to leave Glasgow. Some others may have noticed the exotic company on the road. We stopped off and had a quick chat with one lambo driver who was really friendly, and grabbed a quick snap too:

...and on the way back home for at least 250miles I was occasionally slowing down, moving to the middle lane and letting the Gumbal 3000 crew through so they could have at least some chances in winning this popular race against me

I'm looking forward to the full report by our romping reporter.
Thanks to all those who organised this event as it was great well worth the trip up. I’m not sure what Jim means about the weather up there, it was lovely.
Me and the family really enjoyed ourselves and my daughter asked on the way back “Dad can we do it again next year”
As most of you at the meet will know we had a few issues in getting there, however getting back yesterday was also interesting. I dropped the family off at Glasgow airport and started my journey south, I had not long spoken to David’s8 and told him all was well and I had another call from Mrs Dezzy to say they had missed the gate by 5 mins and therefore couldn’t fly, so I turned round went back to Glasgow and took them to Bristol to pick up the wife’s car, then i headed off to Portsmouth while they went back to Devon. I clocked 621 miles yesterday, bringing the wk-end total to 1241+ the Saturday tour miles I didn’t pay attention to, and the old girl (the 8 that is not the wife) turned to 230,000 miles on our way back.
Also seen a Gumball car it was a Rolls coupe wrapped in black velvet, covered in stickers, No 17 on the doors and had a big Scottish flag on the boot lid.
Nice to meet everyone old and new.
All in all thanks to everyone involved big thumbs up.
