Default 500bhp?

Just sat here bored wondering how many more ponies can be squeezed out of the naturally aspirated D3 S8? 50+? Anyone done it.

With a freer flowing exhaust and a remap what are people getting? I don’t imagine there is much more that can be done before looking at forced air.

I'm at 480 with a remap, decoke, flaps delete and a miltek non res. I think that's a pretty good gain, i think flowed heads and piggy back cat gut should do it but won't be cheap.

Failing that a NOS kit with conservative 25 or 50bhp jets

+50bhp NOS, - that's what you put on 2 litre 150HP car. On S8 I would not even consider anything less that 100HP jets.

All depends on how conservative you are and your approach to risk, I agree it can take more but a 50bhp shot after flaps, decoke and remap would put you in 530bhp territory super safely
