Default Wind noise

Hi guys, me again. Just trying to sort a let down D2 I'm getting quite loud wind noise? My first thought is window frame needs adjusting but then I don't know what's the correct position? Maybe someones got untouched low miler and could post some pictures?

I have all door cards sorted with new clips and seals as it should have.

Thanks guys

The ideal position for the window frame is with the rubber surround just touching the door frame so it makes a seal but isn't jammed up against it. I've noticed its quite common for the top corner of the seal to drop slightly - presumably because the rubber has shrunk over time. This leaves a few mm gap at the top which can cause a bit of wind noise. I've not investigating fixing it yet but I think it'll need the whole window frame removing and the seal repositioning.

There are also rubber seals on the leading edge of the door skins to seal off turbulent air. You can get a bit of noise if one of those is missing.

I adjusted mine (NSR) recently after replacing the frame, it's only 4 bolts to loosen that hold the whole frame in place.

I just made sure that the seal was joined up and smooth on the outside and it was all good.

As others have said look at the adjustment.

Also I can highly recommend using some Gummi PFlege on the seals to puff them up a little and brings them back to life a touch.

Thanks guys for info. Part of me thinks it is sunroof and not doors, but it's hard to tell. Does sunroof adjust with little Allen key like most cars?

Never tried it tbh. Does it sit flush with the roof?

Ok, been working my way through adjusting doors to sit nice and flush and that's definitely improved things. Tried doing sunroof but only have access to back bolts, does it really need taking apart to get access? Had bad experience re' sunroofs so I'm a bit cautious.
