Default Nice start to January 🙈

When you pull over all the way and there's a curb your side, on a country road and her side is completely open no curb.... This is what happens.

Damaged my mirror obviously, snapped clean off, window has scratches and scores in, 3 big dents in the door, damaged my trim beneath the window as well.

Currently undergoing insurance procedure.

She is saying 50/50 knock but it's 100 her.... So annoying.

Why can't people just admit when it's their fault

Hope you get it sorted.

Oh Dear, what a crapper.
Any witnesses?
Do you have a dash cam? Not a be all and end all but it would show her approach and determine exactly how close to the kerb you were.
Did you take photos at the scene?
I know, much easier as an outsider after the event.
Good luck with this, just dig your feet in with the insurance wallies

I know how you feel.
Just accept it.
50/50 affects both parties, as bad as you saying it's your fault.

I currently I got two claims taking place.
One is 50/50 and I'm waiting to see if the second one accepts it or that will also be a 50/50.

Can I have your broken mirror it's not fixable?

I feel for you too. I had a couple of close calls just last week on local roads narrowed by a lot of parked cars.
There seems to be an epidemic of numpties driving down the middle of the road seemingly unaware of the width of their vehicle.
I often find myself driving in the gutter close to scraping the curb. This has been enough, barely, so far...

Cheers fellas, it's like the worst thing ever but it's nearly impossible to prove its all her fault. She lives 5 doors down which is kind of awkward, I drove down the same road tonight as if I was her coming home, and the room she has is a joke..... Who comes home at 7:00 in the morning, she was smoking aswell I think so may ring up and tell them that. Didn't get pictures as it happened as our cars were blocking the whole road. Annoying really.

Will keep you updated but worse way my excess is £300.

I wanted my door painting anyways and it was gona be £250 as I'm not allowed to paint my own stuff at work being a painter myself, again, annoying lol.
