As the title says, I need a solar roof harness for my 8. Anyone have a spare? Thanks in advance.

There's another member in need of this too. I think the wiring gets discarded when the sun roof is removed, because it's very long and difficult to separate from the rest of the loom.
But, the original harness is a real pain as it runs from just above the rear view mirror, down the right hand B pillar (passenger's side for you), to the floor, over to the front again and then on to the relay box behind the wooden panel in the left hand (driver's side for you) foot well. Then a few wires to the air con unit. It's much easier to take the wiring down the left hand A pillar. Richard (PsYcHe) did mine for me and the only original 'wiring' he used was the little purple connector that plugs in to the short length of wiring that comes from the sun roof itself. So, you might be quicker to get the wiring diagram and get an auto-electrician to do it for you.

If you find a donor car just ask them to remove relay (p/n 8A0 951 253 A with big letters 203 on top of the housing) with a plastic relay backplate and a length of wires coming from that relay backplate. 15-20cm is just enough.
Also ask for a length a brown wire and a red wire that collect electricity from contacts + and - of the sunroof. Ask to cut as long part of those wires as they can. Everything else you can easily solder yourself. Just buy two reels of meaty wires of two different colours.
