Apologies for the delay in getting back to everyone on this: two further weekends away, plus work (damn nuisance! ) in the interim, have delayed me getting back to this.

But…. we have a winner! After much deliberation by the expert jury (me! – no chortling please!!), and even more deciphering of the answer sheets – which seemed to get less legible as time wore on, can’t think why - the winner, by a nose - geddit.??? is:

Mike has clearly sampled a few examples of the “water of life” on his travels ;-), judging from the level of his knowledge, though I think he was aided and abetted by his glamourous assistant during this tasting session…

Honourable mentions also go to HP Sauce, Psyche, David’s8, and a number of others, all of whom knew their stuff, and of course to everyone who contributed, including those who did so without taking part, all of which helped raise the total for Richard’s charity to a pretty impressive total.

Roll on next year, can’t wait.
