Default condensation cracked lense

Just noticed 2 hair line cracks in each rear wing cluster on the A8.

There is small circle in the reverse section, like a little dent which looks part of the manufacturing process, both have hairline cracks coming from this.

I dont want to shell out for new led bits as well, they are fine. Can i just buy the lenses and swap them over?

Also same issue with foglights. Take lense off clean and dry and refit with sealant??

You have the facelift rear lights right? I had the same problem with mine - a cracked plastic lens and moisture getting in. Replacement units I found to be £120-£200. Drop Guy on here a message, I got one from him a little cheaper and he may have more.

I didn't think it was worth trying to replace just the lens and dry it out etc.

Yeah mines facelift.

I think it would be alot cheaper to replace just the lense - cant seem to find any though!

At least if i seal it and do it myself i know it wont happen again, dont want to buy another set and then they start! Lol

As far as I know the lens is not available as a spare part, just the full light cluster.

Mannyo's correct. All a single sealed part except reversing bulb.

Just buy a new one.

It is very common and has occurred to me. Over time the moisture will ruin the light assembly and screw with the circuits anyway.

Buy a new one.
