Nice setup I'll second how solid the D2 is. The setup in mine used to make the rain jump off the roof in my Corrado. The D2 mirrors don't even wobble

This morning I bought the RBC-1 which is the bass level controller for the amp, the source quality is just so different depending on whether its the radio, or the CD, or the iPhone that I know I will be forever going into the settings.
Its seemed far easier just to turn a well placed knob! So, the install has been fairly easy so far - what is the the best cable route front to rear? |

Under the sill trims. If you lift the back seat base out you can run from the battery tray tucked under the boot side trim then through the sheet metal in the bottom corner - there's a piece of foam covering the other cables. If you pop the door sill trims off front and back you can tuck the cable in beside the carpet.
Its been a while since I had that area apart on a D2 but from memory I think you can use a pull-through at the base of the B-pillar to get the cable through there without having to remove the B-pillar trim. A piece of stiff wire usually works. |
