As for paying a deposit without viewing, I think it depends where you're buying from. I bought a car last week with a phone deposit subject to inspection (paid on credit card for protection just in case), picked it up today, happy days
Will certainly contact them !

As for the deposit via credit card..... well I would actually do that too as you have a fair amount of protection with the credit card company. I asked these guys could I pay the deposit via credit card to which I was told we do not accept credit card payments over the phone but can take a payment at any of our two warehouses. A pile of poo I know but again they were just playing the game to try to tag me along.......

website seems back again...

http://envillecars.net/

don't think any of the cars are pictured in the same location.. the size of deposit required and the very low prices clearly suggests, IMHO a scam...how do they expect to get away with it

I think I'm going to spend a few minutes each day ringing this firm up and asking about 'the car' they have for sale. If pressed for details I'm fully prepared to say it had metallic paint, was made by a European manufacturer, and I think had 2 or 5 seats.

Let's see how they fair when faced with targeted boredom and indefatigable enthusiasm for their business model and stock.

It is notable how all the "testimonials" give the impression of being written by the same person......

Nice one David.
Some rather interesting reading there.
There are some right barstewards out there.
Years ago one of the systems I was caring for had to make a daily phone call to base to report it's daily log. This normally took place at 02:00. If it did not get through correctly and do it's dump it kept trying every three minutes. When it did make contact it squirted data down the line and expected a set data reply. If this did not happen it assumed a failed connection and went into the three minute try again cycle. This would have been an ideal phone line blocking tool for somebody like this.

Just had a quick browse of their website and immediately saw two glaring errors that told me to 'walk away, pronto':

'Not sure what your looking for? then check out our stock on our web site, we have a vast range of vehicles including sedans...'

Your should be spelt as you're, and we know sedans as saloon cars in this country. It's a real shame that they're closed today (Sunday) as I feel that I could easily waste some of my inclusive minutes on the mobile, asking some probing questions. That is, of course, providing the telephone number hasn't changed - again.

They've got a seven seater described as a five,... there's many errors it's a poor site.

That's as maybe, I wonder how much they have "made"/defrauded from it?

I think they've just cut and pasted ads from Autotrader. I was just trying to illustrate how many warning signs there are.
