squirt mode

Hi, what is the squirt mode, I have the S mode on my car, it is like an animal in that mode, keeps the revs and very quick. But what is the actual meaning and power output etc?

The 'S' (sport?) only effects the gear box, changing the box map to hold it in gear to the red line, not down change too soon, and to shift faster.

The power output is the same.

It's no faster than tiptronic or a spirited drive in 'd' once the inteligent map has done it's thing.

Does use a lot of fuel though!

ok cool, thanks. i realised it drinks fuel like nobody's business! it certainly feels much more sportier and just wants to go, no holding it back! does make the gear stick area look very nice with S!
