Any more more talk of sodding BMW's, Ms or MnMs and the Librarian gets duodecimal on you.

I think Conan was gonna remove his M's and W's and just leave the B's

I feel qualified to comment on this seeing as I owned a D3, a D2 and currently own an E46 M3!

The D2 and D3 are 2 different cars. The D3 is a fantastic, fast cruiser with basically all the electronic gadgetry thrown on it. I loved mine and really really REALLY regret getting rid of it. The MMI system is fantastic, it is more comfier than the D2 and I think works perfectly in being a better A8. It does feel slightly less connected to the road as Psyche says, but at the end of the day the air suspension is fantastic.

The E46 M3 is totally different. It is a racing machine, that revs high, goes like stink and goes around corners beautifully. But that said my D3 4.2 V8 was an even match until above 100mph when the V8 came into it's own and start to slowly pull in the M3. The M3 is more fun as a drivers car though.

Personally, stop modding the D2 if you want to sell. You won't get anything back for it! Enjoy it as it is, then get something newer

I want my old D3 back....

It is getting the following now.

Next 2/3 weeks:

Full walnut wood trim, hate the vavona.

then in the next 1/2 months:

Coilovers & Xenon tinting by James (Mkoneman)

By me:

Extended leather pack III
Solar Sunroof
S8 numberplate
Bluetooth added to RNS E
Digital TV tuner
Full I Pod control through RNS E
EBC Drilled discs
Ferodo DS2500 Pads
Brake Block

Am I missing anything?

Have been offered LPG at a very very good price, but brother in law just picked up a S reg Passat saloon with 148k miles in silver for £300. Needs new tyres and brakes but I might use that as my daily.
