The Victor Reinz ones seen to be right down your alley then Nick!
I think I have those on mine (40V).
What's the Euro worth?
Easy Square are in Holland - €29.95 is about the right price too considering they'll be genuine...

So, after a longish gap......!

It's still dragging itself around but still using plenty of oil.

Using 10/40 and not seen any smoke even on hot re-start since the switch.

Seems to be leaking more than before and the bottom of the car is is well covered on the RH of the front subframe and back from there. Comes from the alternator mount area.

I've done the cam cover gaskets (£30 for Victor Reinz ones from Poland - result!) and these definitely not longer leak though they certainly did before. Hasn't made that much difference to the overall losses though.

I'm suspecting one (or maybe all!) of the following

Oil cooler/filter housing to block seal
RH camshaft seal (no oil in belt casing but apparently it goes behind?)
Oil pump drive seal
Crankshaft front seal.

First two seem more probable as the leak does seem to original fairly high up which is why I had hopes that the cam cover gaskets might help.

Any thoughts on which is the most likely? They all look nasty to do!

Cheers

Nick
