Default Now worth more?

Well, Tesla have just upped the new price for the M3P by £3.5k, so that won't do your resale value any harm (should you actually decide to part with it...)

That is interesting... I see list is now 60K! but I'm not seeing any notable new features....

Has seriously widened the gap between the LR and performance though.

Give it a few weeks for the market prices to adjust and it could well tempt me over the line to move it on

Yup. Strange decision, and there's a (slim..) chance it's a website error, though pretty unlikely - but Tesla being Tesla, they may change it again in a few weeks!

Price adjusted due to demand as not able to get an S or X until next year at earliest?

I keep re-thinking about a Merc EQC - we test drove this, a Model 3 and Polestar 2 last year, missus liked the Merc best, and she'd be driving it most of the time. The 0% finance offers make it tempting

I'm clearly just bored.....

Well,

Its been a while..... So a quick update.

WBAC has been pestering me to buy the Tesla, and the prices keep going up. I'm now up at £44250 for an 18 month old model 3 P with 12 K on the clock, as a straight trade buy.

It only cost me about £50K to buy, so pretty chuffed with that.

But, all that said - There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that I could sensibly replace it with.

If I take the £620 / month finance payment, and draw it out instead as salary or dividends, pay the taxes and buy something with the change (whilst allowing for the cost of fuel and road fund license) (and repairs if an older car) I'm going to end up with something very, very ordinary.

So, yes, I do miss the drama of a roaring, screaming petrol engine, and the noise, and the fumes, and the revs and vibrations (but not the leaks, complexity, servicing or fuel stops) but not enough to want to go back to one as a daily driver.

There is definitely space for a cheap bit of something on the side in my life, and I keep my eyes peeled, but for now, the Tesla is the only choice for me....

Sounds like you need an engine noise generator app, a smoke machine and maybe to take the balancing weights off a front wheel

Reminds me of the phrase "Why Go Out For Burgers When You’ve Got Steak At Home?", the answer of course is sometimes we all want a burger - ideally a V8 one

Or why go out for a 100% beef burger (and a pint of draft beer) when you’ve got a Quorn steak at home? Hmmm, let me think about that!
