You're rising valid concern, old man.

If we look at wiring diagrams, those buttons get electrical power via the switch on the drivers door, just like those windows up/down buttons on passenger rear doors.

You can easily press the button and neutralise those people.

No havent's fitted it yet as I've got other projects at the moment. It is still waiting in the box.

What's the problem? Order it from Audi. It is still **available**. The real problem will be when parts are unavailable. Audi already discontinued a lot of trim. Not available any more in new condition.

I ordered US spec taillights in the UK without any problem. If part is available Audi will supply it
