I went out earlier and noticed that mine says Text Msg in the top right and not SMS, maybe its because I have the latest MMI software version and the onboard motorola phone as opposed to bluetooth.

I'll look in to rSAP for my HTC and see what it does with the bluetooth on the car.
I got a Nokia 6021 connect to the car via the correct cradle and that only does phone call and phone book. No text, should it? Not that I'd ever use it but I'm interested.
