Frosty morning today revealed that top 4 lines (area where the antennas are) do not warm up when rear window heater is on. Should they? Also left/passenger side section of 6th line from the bottom edge is dead.

I am sorry to report that at 7:30 there was only a bit of frost on the windscreen and just condensation at the back window, but will keep my eye open, but this week looks too warm.

In my area it was definitely frosty, so I checked mine.
It's a D2, not D3, and just the top 2 lines are not heated - presumably aerials?
All the rest was definitely working right across.

Thanks guys. I found this thread relating to D2:

So I am thinking the dead section on the passenger side may be causing it. I will check if it can be fixed.

I was able to fix the dead section with the Granville repair kit, and the interference is now gone!! Too early to say if the reception has improved, although I still don't have DAB reception at home...

Nice one! I remember those.
I recently found my Griffin USB cigar lighter charger also causes DAB interference which gets worse when when charging something.

The reception didn't really improve after repairing the heating element - although the interference disappeared.

I have now tested the DAB-radio with an external aerial and the reception is much better. So I wonder if the original aerial is just very bad or if there is a fault in my system somewhere. There are no fault codes, but I'm still not sure if the amplifier works as it should.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a new amplifier - that did the trick. DAB now works at my house where it never worked before.
