Default Info required on Glass (non Solar) Sunroof

On a 2002 model D2 A8 with a glass (non Solar) sunroof, should there be a blind as part of it as per on an A6 of similar vintage, or is there just the glass panel only with no blind attached?

The car in question does not have the blind which struck me as unusual. To be fair, the only sunroof I have ever noticed on the D2 A8 is either the steel one or the Solar version which although glass has a cover on the interior side. There does seem to be plenty of room for a blind between the sunroof/roof and interior headlining. Two C5 A6s I previously owned both had the blind. Thanks for the quick reply. As for pics, I haven't bought it yet. Just doing my homework on it. Is the glass sunroof fairly scarce then, as this is the first one I've come across? My father's old D2 A8 had the usual steel sunroof.

Thumbs up

Yes - there is a blind (solid with a row of vents along the front edge). I have a glass roof on my 2002 S8. It was an option. Much prefer it to the solid roof.

Yeh, I thought that would be the case. I prefer the glass roof as well. Strange that this one hasn't got a blind. It looks as though it should be there (obviously!).

Thanks for the info, guys. Panic over, the blind was somehow wedged between the roof lining. Managed to pull it out to it's correct position. Now all is OK.
