Default D3 led rear lights

Hello everyone
I have just noticed two small LEDs on the drivers side rear quarter rear light have gone out
I have a 57 plate A8 sport can these be repaired or is it a new light
I know it's only two small LEDs but it will drive me Barmy as it shouldn't be like this
Cheers Andy

I think its normally a new light job.
As they normally need the light opening up and the LED replacing.

I've repaired a few aftermarket LED lights but not a D3 yet.
I'm open to try if its a cheaper option for you.

the led pcb's are removable on the lights on your year, once removed you can desolder and replace the led's

If you don't want to do that I can sell you a pcb as i have a full set after replacing my lights for the facelift ones

Can you confirm which pcb you want, I have three working ones, the only one that i dont have working as I have yet to get round to repairing it is the Passenger side indicator cluster, both the boot lid clusters and driver side indicator cluster are fine.

Not sure on price but I would like to trade yours for mine with some beer tokens so I can repair yours along with mine when I get time.

thanks

It's so hard to match them apparently so I was wondering why you guys just don't replace all of them and then the whole indicator strip will have matching ones and won't look odd
Just a suggestion
Then the spare ones, original ones, could help others on forum with similar problems

That's not a bad idea really.

Is an individual LED that fails?
