Tesla Model Y is open for orders as of this morning it seems......
This will be interesting. A lot of model 3 owners want the Y. Will it cause a load of 3 order cancellations. Will it cause a load of 3's to get dumped into the second hand market over the next 6 months.... £100 to secure one today for early/mid next year. Mines on order ;-)

Sorry - full self driving.
No. Not worth it. Can be added after at exactly the same cost. Gives: Summon (car can creep towards you by remote control, eg going in/out of a very tight garage) - Party trick really. Auto park - Not the best by all accounts, and very slow. Full self driving.... Still not mature enough for my liking, and hampered by local laws. Maybe it has more value in the US. It was supposedly moving to a monthly subscription model, but again very overpriced. Standard car comes with Auto steer and Traffic aware cruise control, which is more than enough for me.

Do you not think a significant amount of X owners will sway towards the Y as well?
UK buyers are now accustomed to that commanding SUV driving position, and that's only been offered at a price in excess of £100,000... until now. Is it fair to see it as a 'mini X'?
