Gramofons are great (as are your seats ) - very easy to set up and use: Sonos is nice, but I never go from room to room playing the same music, so I prefer this "budget" alternative.

We have Sonos and find it a good solution as just the one box (if you don't already have amps and speakers everywhere...). Have the PlayBase in the living room under the TV and this is brilliant

Spent the weekend changing the rack as wasn't happy with the original one.
Used the Ikea Lacks with extra wood inserted in the hollow legs allowing me to put inserts in so I could screw in spikes - looks a lot better and very stable.
