A fantastic weekend, and the promised deluges managed to miss the main elements of the day, making it all even better.

Some great stopping points, views and roads as always.

A massive congratulations to Jim, David and Brian for the weekend.

Default Fund Raising Update

Just posting this in here too, in case it gets lost in the prizes thread

Huge, huge thanks to all who donated prizes, we struggled to get everything on the prize table. Also huge thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets or took part in the Whisky Experience. The total amount raised is £434.45 (not sure where the 45p came from) and we will be donating to Prostate Cancer UK, the charity chosen by Richard for his recent lycra fest. The donation will be made via the Just Giving page for Richard's event.

Once again many many thanks to all

Big thanks from us as well for the organizers and everybody who turned up. Everything turned out better then expected, weather was better than forecast, midges was nowhere as bad as I was led to believe, car did better on fuel then expected, dogs did not chew their way out of camping hut while left alone for the dinner and bumper stayed on.

On behalf of the other two “wise men” and myself thanks for all the nice comments. I must pay tribute to David’s meticulous planning on the route and timings, but no matter how well organised the event is, it would be no good without those who come along and join in. Huge thanks to everyone who came along and participated so enthusiastically over the weekend, it was very nice to see everyone, old and new faces alike. Can’t wait for next year!!

Thanks also to Connor for the photography, it will take us a couple of days to sort through the pics filtering and editing etc so please be patient

Scotland is a great place with great people -- my heart is now broken forever.
I bet it was most complicated meet to organise.
Jim, Brian, David -- many thanks for going through all the trouble.

It was great to see everyone!
