Default Cool or uncool?

I love these cars, gave one way the other day and they are fast becoming appreciating classics. I've been looking at them on Autotrader on and off over the years, and have noticed they are getting rarer and I firmly believe they will only appreciate in value now. How can it not be cool with that shark nose?

I've found some photos of the most original looking and cleanest I could find. I really want a BMW 635 CSI.

Check out the rear bucket seats they come with!

I'm with you on this one - admired them from when they first came out - never owned one though - and still like the looks of them now

So for me - it's cool

Proper cool. I remember a mate of mine owning one when I was in Sardinia. He had huge rims on it then, BBS style, and it looked fecking awesome!!!

Having had one, I'd concede that this beemer was cool, though not as cool, or elegant classic looking as my old 3.0CSl (batmobile) model, both long consigned to the scrap yard. IIRC, camshafts were always the issue with these, ran directly in the metal of the head, rather than in bearings, wrote the car off every time.

The other BM's were just too small & cramped (or had seats about as spine jarringly giving as park benches) for my liking (even my 8 is a little small to get in & out of, but nice & cosy once 'enclosed' in it)
