Yep and it'll potentially fail the mot visual inspection too

Depending on how it's done, it may fail the MOT test.. Any decent remover will cut out from the top of the container and take the DPF itself out and weld back together to keep it as hidden as possible.

The DPF on the 3.0 is a double unit that includes a small catalyst to create regeneration heat prior to the filter. The whole lot can be crumbled out by ramming a crowbar or stake in one end. Very messy job though and wear a mask. Then the casing is intact. Just need to uninstall DPF.EXE from the ECU out by a chip tuner such as Shark.

Just a shame they can't install NOSMOKE.COM when they do it..
It's also not much more to get a remap done while you're at it as the labour costs are identical.
