Default 2002 S8 cracked screen - advice

I have a 2002 S2 S8 final edition which I am getting ready to sell.

However there is a flaming great crack in screen so needs replacing.

Are all the D2 screens the same fit give or take top tint or not.

There are a couple on eBay but a big difference in price.

Many thanks.

just go through your insurance and pay the £50 or so excess and have it fitted correctly. By the time you have bought the screen, got the old one out, removed all the old glue, bought the new glue then mounted the screen correctly without leaking you'll have cost yourself significantly more.

All D2 screens should be interchangeable apart from armored version. I have FL screen fitted on PF car. Bought brand new on e-bay for £40 on best offer, was listed at £50 by listergroup. Old one was not cracked just a old screen the car left from factory with so lot of small scratches an pitting. It did take me about 2 years so to find one at the price I was willing to pay.

Many thanks.

Can't see any sensor gaps in the glass.

Has a top tint so maybe run of the mill.

Few about. Will get one ordered.

Cheers guys.

Might try you local windscreen guys, When I was looking for it they offered new windscreen for £170 or £210 fitted. There are some second hand on e-bay that are more expensive then this and they will inevitably have some scratches and pitting being over 10 years old and over 100k miles. I would go for a new one.
