D3 servicing questions
Decided it's best to service my car before driving the 500 miles up to Scotland from Essex in June, and by chance my service light came on yesterday saying a service is due in 1,400 miles.
What spark plugs would you all recommend? Bosch? NGK? Denso? Also what else would you be tempted to change other than filters and fluids? Mileage is approx. 134,000 so nothing "major" needs doing at the moment.

I would try and change brake fluid if its not been done for a couple of years, and also the fuel filter which isnt on the service schedule

Alternator belt.
Investigate it properly and change it even if you see only one crack. I've seen a D3 with one which snapped, soooooo much labour involve to get all the bits out, it almost wraps around every possible part. And its only 90 quid. I also always change coolant, all filters, spark plugs, ac service, steering fluid, brake fluid and usual longlife stuff (every year) I know its a bit @nal but ......

Thanks. Service done - all fluids and filters changed
And gave it a good 'claying' as well. Definitely needed it. This was just after doing the boot lid!...

Just thought... the service indicator obviously still comes on!!
 Would anybody at the annual meet be kind enough to reset it using the software?
