Thumbs up Run to Devon

Went down to Devon for my Sons open day at Exeter ... at one point was seeing 49mpg on short term. Final mpg was 47.5 on a 245 mile journey.

Very impressive for a massive car that can do 0-60 in 6 seconds and 155 miles per hour.

Car is definately exceeding my expectations.

That's very good.

I'm lucky to see 30.

I normally see about 38-40 Mpg hammering down the M1 @ 70+. Anything lower and it increases to 40+ Mpg.

Yes, the wife in the car adds at least 5mpg.

Normally around 40mpg on my own. I'm really impressed with the economy in general. Even around town 30 to 35mpg is common. Not expensive to put fuel in.

It's that 8 speed box, on the cruise at 80 the engine is ticking over at 1900 rpm.

Speaking of wives. Mine brings the economy down to 24 mpg .. don't know what she does when she is driving.
