VAGcom Lowering

Well im running final editions. 275 35 20 p zero

Im thinking of 275 40 20
Or 285 40 20
All of which fit. I have used 275 35 on a 8.5j wheel and 285 on the 9j wheels

So il put part worns on next and experiment
Its a LWB any way and not lowered so there is heaps and heaps of arch space

Compared to the sports SWB W12 the 4.2 LWB is comfort non sport and handels a little like a bus to be honest

I'm meeting up with a mate after work to lower his Allroad and attempt to lower my 8.

Lowered my 8 yesterday.
went xx22xx and it went fine first time.




I also did a allroad at the same time.
When doing a allroad you lie to it.
You tell it its XXmm higher than it really is, where xx is how low you want it to go.

Would that work on the 8 as well?

you do the xx22xx and when doing the adaptation instead of putting down say 400mm you put down 420mm.

Good job on the lowering , By the way just how big are the disabled cars where your at??? that space is massive..

Everyone has said I need bigger wheels but I don't want to lose the comfort.

Its massive, its like a parking space for disabled coaches.


I might try and go lower but I've already bottomed out twice.
