Default Do these times look a little off to you?

Whilst having a late lunch today, I thought I'd browse of one the world's biggest time-waster sites (no not the A8parts Forum) - YouTube.

I came across this video and thought that some geyser doesn't know how to operate a stopwatch.

What're your thoughts on this channels findings on the 0-100kph (0-62mph) times for the various D2's?

Does a 2.5 diesel really accelerate faster than a 2.8 PF?? I'm sure my FL has at least 193HP after MJ showed it her stick. Not sure on that PF 2.8.
And isn't the W12 the pinnacle of D2 performance?

Highly unscientific testing so I'd definitely take those times with a pinch of salt.

The FL S8 was short-shifted so that'll slow it down, whereas the PF S8 was in tip and at -3.5C if the DIS is to be believed so lots of nice dense air to make more power hence why it was quicker.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 2.5TDI was faster to 60 than a 2.8 for the one time it could manage it before it blew up. The 2.5 makes a lot more torque than the 2.8 and is typically quite low geared in the lower gears (in the manual, 1-3 are lower than the S8 and 4-6 are higher). It struggles to get to 200Km/h though cos its a gutless heavy pig.
