Default VCDS scan

After fitting new gear wheels to the mmi new fault codes have appeared
Has anyone had these problems and most importantly know the fixes.

08 Air outlet middle left/right, they all blow air and work with the temp setting in the heating menu but cleared the fault and came back.

09 light switch fault, have noticed the auto dim mirrors not working as ross-tech could be reason. Have turned off all lighting still no change.

Does anyone know how to check the coding for these.
I've googled but not found much.

18 Aux heat this has been making a loud noise when firing up but no fault code until now.

If someone could shed some light on this I would be very grateful.

David

Have you cleared them and see if they come back? (Check they have actually cleared) as they say intermittent and only frequency 1 it makes me think they were a one-off and have not happened subsequently. Let's hope so.

I agree with Snap.
Look at the time/dates, all in the same ball park.
When you clear the DTCs I suggest that you do do a "Clear AllDTCs", then take the time to go through each controller individualy and clear any DTCs that seem to be sticking. Might take you a couple of goes to fully clear them all but I think that you will find most of your faults to be spurious ones due to plugs being disconnected.
Can't remember precisely what happened when I changed my MMI gears 'cos I had HID ballast interference problems at the same time, and that was a bugger to sort.
