Insurance Time again
I go through this every year with my Insurance company (Hastings Direct)
Last years premium £311.65 This years Renewal quote £419.65 ( Increase of £107.95)  No change to policy,except additional years NCD After telephone conversation, which took 20 minutes to get through, finally agreed on new premium of £331.25 ( increase YOY of £19.60)  Big difference from the requested £107.95 the wanted.  Moral of the story, always ring them and threaten to move.  Cheapest other quote for like for like from Comparison site was £335.17 from Saga It does pay to be in the older generation  Happy Days

Just had the same process for my D2!
Last year £256, 6k miles, my partner and me. This year £326 with 5 years NCB. Did a comparison and got it at £243 from LV. Result! ��

I must be just getting into LVs target age bracket - every quote I've had from them before this year has been more or less double Admiral on either car. This year they were within £50 for the Golf, although their default excess was massive to get that close.

Worth noting also that if you are in your renewal period, Admiral group will not show up when you do comparisons, no doubt others will follow with that soon. Recently found Adrian Flux to be very competitive on my RS6, particularly in light of recent ahem lapses in concentration
 Then again I am even older than Mike which also helps
