Default Who had there transmission ecu updated?

I get a slight hooting noise on hard acceleration low down when the torque kicks in, I know there is a TSB on this regarding a fluid change and software update, now has anyone had it done, is it an audi only thing or can I get it done at a ZF a specialists like Chester transmissions as per the other thread, any help or advice welcomed

ZF specialist will do it.. My PF had a software update and change to (I think) Blue fluid when I got it. When I had my FL serviced, it was LG8 (Yellow?) and another software update.. Not cheap though

Had this done today funny enough £60 later and a happy gearbox so far. I get trade prices and also the LG8 direct from zf who decant it from a large tank at £9.50 per litre so all in all not to painful. . Filter is £30 and gasket £17

60 ? I did this job myself and used around 9-10L of fluid at around 10 quid each litre + the filter cost and gasket was around 120-150 in parts alone.

£60 was for audi to do the adaptation - the fluid was £9.50 per litre if you read again
