Help please
i need help in locating the power suppluy lead from the electrical areal going to the stereo,also can someone help me with the speaker sett up wires as ive only got the front speakers working.....D2 98 reg
its the radio with the volume button in the middle and tape sett up with the x6 cd in the boot... If anyones got a diagram of the wires that would be wondefull.... |

No handy diagram, but it's a pre-out to the amp in the rear, one of the 3 connectors in the top IIRC. Is there not a diagram on the old radio itself? Some had them.

....cracking thankyooo...
but i found this today..the 1st piccys my stereo with the picture on it of the wirring ..and the seconds on i found on audi com...but..me being thicker than an offspring of a chicken couldnt wire it in as i dont know what the abbreveations mean,,,,also rang the garage that installed the shark fin on the roof and they said they did wirre this into the power suppluy to the old electric aerial But on my new stereo it only has ... two red leads one marked power and the other B+ one orange marked electric antena One brown lead negative And 8 speaker wires 4+...4- Im sorry to sound thick but can anyone help me to connect the right leads,at present i have power and just the front speakers on Last edited by guinea; 19th November 2009 at 05:58 PM. |
