Not mine. Just been down south and back. Came over Shap and Beattock on Monday afternoon/early evening in strong snow flurries and slushy roads. You are right - winter wheels/Nokian tyres and quattro gave a good feeling.

The Daily Mash had a couple of articles about the recent snow-fall in Scotland ...

Trapped Scottish drivers forced to deep fry each other
http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/e...r-201012073324

Quote:
HUNDREDS of Scottish drivers, trapped by heavy snow, today face the prospect of deep frying the meatiest ones to stay alive.

With emergency services unable to get through, the cold and hungry motorists have fashioned a deep fat fryer using the cargo bay of a Toyota Hilux pick-up truck and some blow torches.

Those motorists that look the most delicious will then be deep fried in motor oil for about 20 minutes.

And ...

Scotland experiencing first-ever bout of bad weather
http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/e...20170110119913

Quote:
SCOTLAND is experiencing bad weather for the first time in its history.

The tropical paradise, whose name means ‘Sunny Place’ in Ancient Greek, has been hit by an arctic blast bringing snow and other previously-unseen hostile weather conditions.

First minister Nicola Sturgeon said: “For centuries our country has been a haven of cloudless blue skies and unbroken sunshine, where peace-loving locals sit gazing over flawless beach sunsets and sipping from local coconuts.
