Maybe going off at a bit of a tangent but I bought some similar ones ages ago now, thinking they would fit pre-FL D2 S8 Avus wheels, part number 4B0 601 165A.

These have a more domed centre than the 8D0 ones and are blatantly cheap Chinese copies despite having all relevant markings. Just Google the part number to see what style they are if unsure.

Anyway, they didn't fit properly even after "bodging" the back of one to cut away some surplus plastic, and have just been sitting in my garage as I don't need them now.
I'm not 100% sure what wheels they are for, but someone may have a use if they've lost one or more.

If anyone wants them, you can have them for the price of P&P, just PM me if interested. There are 3 untouched plus one with some plastic missing on the back (but central fixing lugs intact).

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.).
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

That is the part number for genuine Audi caps, but they are off an old A3/A4/A6 wheel.

this might seem a daft question, but how do i remove the centre caps from my 20" FE wheels? ive got a set of locking wheel nuts and it just occured to me that the caps need to come off first

A big heavy screwdriver works for me, if you can't get it in between the cap and the wheel use a hammer to bray it home.......

Each centre cap will have a small hole (on the chrome ring if I remember rightly) which you hook into to pull them off. Chances are you won't have the proper tool so do what I did, bend some stiff wire to 90 degrees and create your own
