Question to all members...
My DIS showed 0 Miles the other day, I never usually let it get this low. Anyway, I drove about 3 miles with it saying this and then put in some Tesco 99. Well you can see on the picture all I could get in...
Does the S8 not have a 90 litre tank? Does this mean theres about £13s worth of fuel in there when it says 0 Miles. Not that I'm going to risk it.. Just wanted to know if anyone else has the same thing or if my gauge/sensor is fecked!?

about 80 litres is all I've been able to squeeze in so far...

Managed to get over 20miles on '0' so must have quite a few litres in reserve - think the most I have managed to get in to mine was about 87litres.

Generally, 80 ish litres is about what you would normally expect to get in when it reads around 0 miles left... There is usually a decent size reserve..
All UK cars have a 90 liter tank, but abroad some of the 2.8's had smaller ones. The long wheel base has a 92 liter tank due to those few extra inches.. We have found a few cars though where 0 means nothing! and, in rare cases where they conk out before 0. Test your own car to see how far it will go, just make sure you have a can of fuel in the back ready
