car not starting no crank
Of all days t happen yesterday Christmas day. Went to start to old girl and just got a click. The electronics where All fine and lights went out on the dash as they should. Tried the key and push start and just the same.
Then gave it 30 mins and now starts fine. Not sure if it may be cam or crank sensor. We anyone have any where to start looking at. There was a code (strater motor not tturning) can not recall the code. Any tips would be great thanks all

Just a click sound is more likely starter motor or heavy cables / battery terminals , heavy Earth lead , could even be a battery fault even though it started later on , internal plate warping and shorting battery out

Starter solenoid? Same symptoms on my S4, new started fixed it

There is a known issue with v8 starter motors where they start to fail and often occurs that you start the car do a short journey then stop the car when it's warm and then return to start it again and it won't start, just clicks. Only remedy if it keeps doing it is a new starter motor and they are a bit of a pig to change.
