Default Adaptive light defective

Is there any way to disable this function?
I have an intermittent fault and the beep is getting on my dark side
Sometimes it will not come on for a month.
I belive it is connected to ride hight sensor so we can never be sure if it is the light or suspension hight.
Fault comes up as left light sensor (would it be a good practice to check all relays first as they are known to have dodgy connections, specially now when its wet?)
Or Is it possible to program it as bixenons without adaptive function?
I manage to get rid of tpms annoying beep from the dash hoping it can be done with lights
What do you guys think?

Problem solved
It was a badly corroded conector on front suspension sensor
Cleaned nicely and fault is gone
For future reference - first thing to check, sensors - do not fall for new headlight needed

Ah, maybe the same on mine? I will check...

I had the adaptive NS headlight permanently pointing to the pavement. Also ,the corner assist NS lighting coming on at random (at all speeds).

Only just got around to this job.. I'm struggling to locate the connector. It does not appear to be in the same place as the pic from Borys on mine. I will have to check the tech guides.

It's the connector at the end of the loom right in the middle of your photo, that goes to the level sensor.... just from a different angle and with the splash guard still on.

Thanks. I pulled that and all was good in there. So the issue must be something else...

So I have spent the last few months looking out for a N/S headlight (4E09410064BF) but to no avail. And I checked with our sponsors (obviously)..

So my idea now is to simply buy a matching pair. Different part numbers. Is it just a case of changing the adaption to suit the different part numbered headlights? If so, how would I go about finding out what adaption to use? And I assume that the pre and post FL units will fit as long as it is coming from a D3 with a single grill 2005>

I want to have a replacement to hand when I take the faulty unit out. Albeit that it may in fact prove possible to repair the faulty unit when I get in there. I can then always resell the units if I don't end up fitting them.

With winter approaching now, I need to get it sorted... plus this is the only fault with the car on VCDS and it 'nags' me.
