I agree on the Q7. Not sure about that at all. It does nothing for me...

Although often a new model takes time to 'grow' on you. So for a first glance of the D5 A8 shape, I was quite impressed.

What I don't like in modern SUVs is that the roof line slopes towards the rear.
Drivers door is OK, then second row of seats don't enjoy equally high roof and
the tail is even lower -- the whole car gets smaller towards the rear.
Maybe this is dictated by aerodynamics, but the whole spirit of SUV disappears.

This is the right SUV. It just looks so much better and cleaner.
I think I'll buy it one day for me wife. This is the only car that she likes.

Agree completely about the sloping roof though. When the Q7 first came out I had a good look at one at a dealership and was genuinely surprised at how small the cargo bay was. The sloping roof plus the racked tailgate eat into the space considerably.

LR Defender looks even better than Ranger Rover btw
