Default Fault codes.

Engine management light came on last weekend but went off the next day.
Did a scan yesterday and found some new codes.

I've removed the standard codes of fault handles, buttons and footwell heaters.

Quote:
Address 69: Trailer Labels: 4E0-910-383.lbl
Control Module Part Number: 4E0 910 383 C HW: 4E0 907 383 C

1 Fault Found:
02539 - Terminal 30 from Control Module
006 - Short to Plus
This keeps coming back instantly.
I've used tow bar and electrics with no issues. It all worked fine.
I checked the wiring and it looked fine.

Quote:
Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail!
Control Module Part Number: 4E0 910 401 Q HW: 4E0 907 401 C

2 Faults Found:

005658 - Glowplug for Cylinder 1 (Q10)
P161A - 001 - Open Circuit

012597 - Intake Manifold Runner Control
P3135 - 001 - Lower Stop not Reached - Intermittent
Glow plug is an old one and before the weather turns and I can't get out there, I think its time to get it fixed.
Is it normally new glow plug?

I think the intake manifold runner control is was cause my engine managment light to come on. I've not seen it before.

Anyone got any ideas?
Its not come back since.

Address 28: HVAC, Rear Labels: None
Control Module Part Number: 4E0 910 158 HW: 4E0 919 158 A

1 Fault Found:

00003 - Control Module
003 - Mechanical Failure - Intermittent
This is a new one and I hate it when it says mechanical failure.
I got no idea what it is talking about.

Address 34: Level Control Labels: 4E0-910-553.lbl
Control Module Part Number: 4E0 910 553 H HW: 4E0 907 553 F

2 Faults Found:

01577 - Turn-Off due to Over-Temp
001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

01772 - Signal from Level Control Pressure Sensor (G291)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
I'm going to rebuild the pump this weekend with bagpippingandy kit. Hopefully that will stop the two fault codes.
I assume they came on cause of the piston ring aging?

Not seen this before.
Battery has been fine. No issues.

The two air compressor ones should both be fixed by the kit Andy supplies.

Would not worry about the battery one, it just means the battery level dropped and the car shut something off to save power. I get these all the time at varying stages but the car is always fine.

I rebuild the suspension pump over the week and went for a drive.

I'll scan it again tonight and see if anything has popped back up.

The g291 fault is because of low pressure and the over temp because its been running too long and overheating because its not able to get up to pressure but since you already rebuilt it then that might be ok now.

The battery regulator has dropped into first stage possibly when you have been messing about in the car with electrics on and no engine running, stage one is nothing to worry about if you scan and see it go through all the stages 1-5 in quick succession then that would most likely show a knackered battery.

The mech failure, don't know, possibly a flap motor???

Whilst I was in my car today scanning the engine and HVAC ECU due to other issues, thought I'd check the level control module. Result, no faults showing since the Andy kit was installed in January.

All the above fault codes are now gone and not returned.

WooHoo.

Apart from the normal ones.
