Default Ways to delete suspension warning lights

Hi guys,

I have two suspension warning lights - one oragne (constatnly on) and one in green - flickering.

I have tried VCDS and also took the car to the local audi dealer but without any success.

Is there any way to remove / delete those annoying warning lights?

nb. I have repalced the stock air-suspensions with the coilovers.

* The vehicle is D3 A8L 6.0 W12

Nice Mod

I don't really have any answer so I'm just throwing out suggestions.

Would a replacement CAN Gateway, and or other modules, from an A6 work as this model never had adaptive suspension?

What other errors are thrown up by not having working adaptive suspension?

Like Matt has said this type of thing is going to require some creative thinking to fix,

I assume you have tried removing the module and deselecting it from the gateway?

It may be that the instrument cluster expects comma to the suspension controller and will always complain.

If that's the case you could try reconnecting the level sensors to the wiring and hide them up behind the arch liners out of the way tricking the car into thinking it still has air suspension but that may require the use of power resistors to mimic the coil in the shock absorber.

If you knew of someone good with electronics that can packet sniff the can network for happy suspension messages then manufacture a small unit to plug in to replace the suspension controller and pretend that it's a happy suspension system.

That would be the cleanest way round it assuming that you can't code it out or do as Matt says and change things like gateways / coding to remedy the problem.

Your not the only one that has this problem and I'm sure there's people eager to here a fix for the problem.

Perhaps post a full scan to start off so we can see where the base line is.

Popular mod on allroads so I'd be looking on those forums to see how they deal with it.
