Default Steering noises & Vibrations

I've noticed recently that when trying to park and doing a full left or right lock the steering wheel will shake/vibrate and there's a high pitch squeak that sounds like it's coming from the belt.

I've checked the steering fluid and the belt is about 18 months ago and looks ok.

I'm not sure what it is, I'm going to try and take a look this weekend if I got time but in the meantime has anyone got any ideas what it might be or a good place to look?

Thanks

I've had this noise on a 'normal' car and it turned out to be the belt.

On an '8, it's probably the dynamic direction altering assistive servo motor actuator, at a four figure cost.

That's something I don't need right now.

Any idea how to test it?

Don't go full lock, simple's.

Failing that, check your oil level

Oil level is there and between max and min.

Was tempted to get it replaced when I do my front lower arms and gearbox mounts.
