Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation".  (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. We have a venue! Mark found a hotel with plenty of parking and 25 double rooms that are on hold especially for us. Just north of the Peak District National Park (and I mean only just!) and close to some of the roads and 'attractions' that we were hoping to include. I went to check it out today and, apart from a few cockroaches, a bit of damp and crusty bed linen, it wasn't too bad (only joking folks!).
Full details will be posted tomorrow, complete with a 'booking password' and pricing, so make sure to check out the forum tomorrow and make your booking ASAP. The rooms will be held for a month and then, if we've not booked all the rooms by that time, they'll be back on the market to all-comers and you might have to stay elsewhere. There are a couple of ground floor rooms with facilities for disabled people and a couple with a double sofa bed in addition to the main double bed. There are also a few rooms that are pet friendly and just one twin room. All others are en-suite doubles. Of course, there are now just 23 rooms, as Mark and I have booked already!
