Sorry to see you go too Richard, though I'm sure you'll be back in an 8 someday. Resistance is futile.

Good luck with the new Beemer

That cable is a steal at that price. I had a clone but managed to get a genuine one for the same price as posted here. Great investment.

Not had a go in the newest M5 (F90) yet but by all accounts it's a bit of a beast.

E60 V10 model or your F10 model is the one to have though

Default My Audi S8 now sold - afterlife with an M5

To all those who have left kind words, thanks, it is a truly great community.

My replacement is an F10 BMW M5 like the pictures above. For a variety of reasons related to electronic banking and DVLA it has sat on my drive, very dirty after being trailered from Cambidge, but without reg plates.

Job 1 is a damn good clean and polish prior to getting it detailed. When it is back to full showroom condition, I will put up some photos. Not many M5s have B&O, which was part of the spec on this car and something I loved for over 5 years on my S8 and was expecting to have to downgrade.

Will be starting a tyres and brakes fund shortly!

All the best to fellow forum members.

Default Photos of BMW M5 replacement for D3 S8

As requested some camera phone shots of my BMW M5. Note it is a 2014 F10 model, not the forthcoming G30 which I mistakenly referred to above. For detail spotters it has full leather. (With stitching like S8), B&O with rising speaker in the dash, M sports seats, split folding rear seat, dark ash wood. Out of focus shot in s head up display with speed limit and current speed display. Missing Of course is Four wheel drive!

Enjoy.

Richard

Hi, sorry have been alarmingly busy but I am now the proud owner of richardracer's car. It's awesome - a *completely* different experience to the 1998 A8 I've had for the past few years, which was awesome in its own way too but an entirely different thing. Am slowly discovering a whole new road-based experience

Thumbs up

M5 looks lovely. Nearly bought a black B&O armed one myself up in Lancashire last year.

What's the boot size like...?
